Hi All,
I'm probably asking for too much here. I want to move to Canada. Not sure where. I'm based in the UK and would like to have a slower pace of life work wise and still earn a good living. I work in IT can’t think of any other profession to work in so I’m open to ideas.
Part of me wants to work on a big farm but I know that’s a lot of work and I'm hopeless when it comes to getting up early.
Hi, I'd like to settle in a Canadian city but I really don't know which: I think they area all beautiful! :) However, I've restricted the list to three cities: Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal. Can anyone give me some reasons why I have to settle in one rather than the others? I was in Vancouver during last spring and I was immediately surprised by the city, but I've heard that Montreal and Toronto have also their beauties... What do you think?
Hi All, the family and I are planning to settle in Vancouver. I need some advice as to which neighbourhoods are recommended and which should be avoided. We require a quiet neighbourhood, good public schools, and affordable.
A friend that i study with grew up there & brought me to etobicoke last weekend. It's a nice area of toronto, with a lot of residential neighbourhoods. It's not downtown, so the housing prices are a little lower then the inner city, but its close enough that iit would be easy to communte to work. good luck!

Well, I live in and love Montreal even with our most recent snow storm.
(It actually reminds me of when I was a kid and all we did was play in the snow (this is before video games :)
Toronto...for all of the bad Montreal jokes; is actually a very cosmopolitan city.
And British Columbia may be one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Calgary is now the most profitable city, but as a Canadian I can't wait to visit Halifax or Newfoundland and experience the east coast and experience all of those succulent dishes from the sea first hand.
