Technical Terms

JPG or JPEG - A standard file type for pictures.
PDF - A popular document format, created using Adobe Acrobat. PDF documents can be displayed by many different programs including Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
RSS - An RSS feed creates a "live bookmark" in your web browser for sites that are constantly updated. You can add an RSS feed from our Forums to keep up-to-date on the latest posts without needing to navigate to the site.

Online Shorthand

When leaving messages, comments, posting on blogs or forums, many LoonLounge members use online shorthand. Letters and digits can replace words and syllables.
